Ever since the earliest days of civilization, advanced races have come together for the betterment and protection of them selves and society as a whole. In the caves of Primus Beta, the most ancient known civilized world, paintings were found showing Priman and Priman shaking hands, sealing, perhaps, the Universe's first alliance. We follow now in the footsteps of giants, putting an end to war as we build peace through mutually beneficial treaty. In this vein, we would like to announce the refounding of the InterGalactic Treaty Organization.
Our Charter:
1. An attack on one IGTO member is an attack on all IGTO members, with all ensuing consequences of such an action.
2. Peace must be negotiated with all IGTO members, not only the one who was attacked.
3. Anyone may join IGTO.
IGTO is a purely defensive alliance, we do not attempt to exert any control over member nations.

Let's cut to the chase. I know of IGTO's past, and I know of it's future. It has been nothing but a problem in the past, and it will continue to be nothing but that in the future.
If you truly value the galaxy's peace at large, I urge you to disband or leave IGTO... if you do not, you will regret it and I would much rather you did not go through such displeasure.

I remind you that IGTO is a defensive organization. We are no danger to anyone, so long as they keep to their own territory. Keep this in mind before making idle threats to peace-loving nations.

Threats? This is a warning, not a threat. I would do nothing to harm this organization, although there are those that would manipulate and abuse it to their own ends.

He brings up a point, all the peace loving nations will most likely come to the aid of another nation anyway, so i dont think it entirely requires a group to do it. Seems like it might cause international relation issues.

I will temporarily join IGTO, until I can have a sufficient, or comfortable amount of defense for myself. So I'll just abuse the powers of IGTO your third rule on the charter states "Anyone may join IGTO." Whatever my intentions are, you have no right to deny me membership to IGTO.
